Who Can Join

MCT Federal Credit Union membership is now open to our broader community!

You’re eligible to become a member if you live, work, worship, or attend school in any of the following New York counties:

Montgomery • Fulton • Saratoga • Schoharie

Whether you’ve lived here for years, work in one of our local communities, attend school nearby, or belong to a place of worship in the area, MCT is here to serve you.

Your family can join, too! Immediate family members of current MCT members are also eligible for membership, regardless of where they live.

How to Get Started

Ready to join? If you live, work, worship, or attend school in Montgomery, Fulton, Saratoga, or Schoharie County, simply visit us to open your membership.

When you’re ready to apply, bring the following documents:

  • Valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license or state-issued ID)

  • Proof of eligibility (documentation showing that you live, work, worship, or attend school in one of our four counties)

  • Social Security Number or ITIN

  • Minimum opening deposit (for a Share Savings account)
